Have you ever looked at your iPad’s wallpaper and wished that it was more impressive? It is easy to make your own wallpapers for the desktop when you are using Microsoft Word, thanks to its built-in tool called WordArt.
Many of us have created backgrounds using images, shapes, text or borders; however, this tool will take the process a step further. The beautiful effects achieved through this powerful function in Microsoft Word might give you some interesting ideas for wallpapers.
For instance:
- Use different colours and patterns to create interesting optical illusions
- Incorporate elements such as stars, galaxies or rainbows
- Use textures like wood or stone

TIP: Don’t open PowerPoint presentations in Paint (a free app). Open them in Microsoft Word, do any drawing changes if needed then save them as .ppt files before inserting them into PowerPoints.
Now onto details… What next steps?
1) Import your image into photoshop / PSPToolS / Microsoftword
2) After imports select filters/sketches tools such as arrows/lines/spikes etc
3) Change properties(effects/colour/shapes/textsize/font etc)
4) Resize & crop image
5) Export PSD/PS/IJ/JPG/PNG etc..
6)* Finally cut/paste where appropriate within WP/SWS
For WP please use text shapes font border inside & out if needed else font color size all over + border shape&color & other miscellaneous stuff i mentioned already above! Try these techniques on your next artwork project!
The examples above should get things started but feel free to expand/improve from within MSWord itself via brushes fonts styles shadowing adding gradients…or try something special myself e.g creating multiple layer effects!
