1. Select “File” -> “New.”
2. Choose “Graphics” from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter a name for your graphic in the blank space provided at the bottom of the window.
4. Click on “OK.”
5. Drag your graphic onto one or more lines of text in your document.
To insert an image using embeds:
1 Click on an empty section of text (i.e., without any line breaks or spaces).
2 Hold down Control (Mac) or Command (PC) while clicking and dragging over an image file located on disk (i.e., not included as part of any other picture frames). The mouse pointer will turn blue during this operation indicating that it is pointing at something other than text.
3 Release Control
– On macOS: Shift + Double-clicking a line break icon
– On Windows: Ctrl + Double-clicking
