To access word art on your iPad, follow these steps: Open the Preferences app on your iPad. Tap on “General.” Choose “Default Typeface” from the list of options available. Select “Arial” or any other font you prefer. This will set Arial as the default typeface for all text entered in third-party apps including notes, contacts, messages, apps like Instagram, GoodNotes Paper , Apple Notes , notations app etc), this means any time you want to add words or phrases in your notes etc you can directly type Arial letters or select them easily from keyboard which is very user-friendly feature as you don’t have to switch back and forth between different text boxes if you are working with multiple things at once . tap OK then close preference settings . And now when you open any notes related app or any note editing app like Notability , GoodNotes paper , Notations App etc where text input fields are present it will auto fill with arial font by default as per your last used font preference .
