Creating a Word Cloud with Ease on Your iPad
If you’re an avid reader or just enjoy creating visual representations of your writing, a word cloud can be a great tool to have on your iPad. A word cloud is a graphical representation of words in a piece of text, with the most commonly used words being given larger font sizes. It’s an easy way to quickly and visually understand the content of your writing.
In this article, we’ll show you how to create a word cloud on your iPad using the built-in Apple Notes app. If you don’t already have Apple Notes, it’s free to download from the App Store.
- Open Apple Notes on your iPad and begin composing a new note or edit an existing one that contains the text you want to turn into a word cloud. Type in some sample text and let it auto-correct as needed:
- Once your text is entered, tap the “Select” button at the bottom of the screen to select all of the text. You can also use your fingers to swipe left or right to highlight different sections:
- Tap and hold any word that you want included in your word cloud until all of its letters are blue (highlighted). Repeat this process for each word that you want included in your cloud:
