Firstly, open up your favorite text editor like TextEdit or TextWrangler on your Mac. Then, take a look at the window in front of you and notice the different sections on the left-hand side.
In the center section is where you can add custom fonts and styles. You can download new fonts from various websites or even create your own by typing in the font name into the search bar and selecting it from the list.
Now let’s move onto the right-hand side of our window. This is where we can add custom effects to our text. Here are some popular ones:
- Shadow: Adds a subtle outline around your text.
- Glow: Adds a glow effect around your text.
- Reflection: Creates an image reflection effect that looks like it was taken with a mirror.
- Outline Effect: Edits and alters edges of letters so they appear thicker or thinner.
To use any of these effects, simply select them from within their respective category. You can also create custom effects by selecting them and then clicking “Edit” in order to edit them further.
Finally, don’t forget about adding color! You can do this by selecting any color from within our color picker located on top-right corner of our window. This will allow you to adjust colors as well as adding gradients for added depth.
