To create a word cloud on your Mac, you’ll need some basic software like Text Wrangler or WordsMover.
Text Wrangler is an excellent tool for creating text effects and filters that mimic various fonts and effects from Photoshop.
With Text Wrangler, you can apply filters like gradient background effects or texture overlays with ease. It also has built-in image filters that make it easy to create interesting backgrounds for your text elements.
Alternatively, you can use TextMover software which provides an array of custom filter options such as “Rain Effects”, “Glitter Effect” among others.
Steps:
1.Open either Text Wrangler or TextMover Software
2.Type your text into your document and select Filters -> Text Effects >> Paste Filter (if you don’t see this option click Filter >> Browse)
3.Select one of the filter options from drop down list in top left corner such as Background Layer Color Gradient Effect
4.Select “Background Layer” then click Options Tab. In Options tab select Gradient Background Effect then select color gradients for first option and text colors for second option (Make sure all fonts appear before applying these effect).
5.Apply any other Filters such as Fonts & Glyphs -> Normalize Font Weight/Font Style etc…
STEPS TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL WORD CLOUDS ON MAC
1.Open either tool as mentioned above (TextWrangler ,Text Mover etc)
2.Type any paragraph inside new file named say Document1.txt
3.Multiple Click/Right Click/Control/Cmd + Click then choose Paste if pasted correctly go back up . Right Click again .Select Format->Style Then Choose Insert Paragraph Format Style -> Paragraph
4.Inform Viewport/Preview Window . Select Filters->Add Text – Add To / Add As Image
5.Final Steps are selecting different styles/effects such as Rain Texture Effect etc…
