In WordArt tool panel (Image: screenshot taken from screenshot.png), there are several options available such as Basic Art Form (Rectangle Art), Line Art Form (Rectangle Art), Background Drawing Mode (Pencil), etc. Choose an option that best fits your needs.
Once you’ve selected an option, click on “Create” button at bottom left corner of WordArt tool panel window.
In WordArt window that appeared after clicking “Create” button at bottom left corner of tool panel window,
you will see various shapes like rectangle,
circle,
ellipse,
triangle etc., depending upon shape artwork option selected from Tools menu earlier
click on one shape using mouse pointer and drag it around canvas as per design required by selecting multiple shapes if required then repeat same process for other shapes too till desired final design appear(s).
Your word art creation process should now be complete! You can now save or print off your artwork as desired by simply clicking on ‘File’ menu followed by ‘Save As…’ option located under File tab next page .
To save or print off created artwork , go back into TextEdit app , select saved image file using File – Open command . After opening image file use Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast command if needed .
